Lovely seaside residence with holiday flats overlooking the Gulf of Lozari. Located in L'Île-Rousse, which is in the extreme east of the Balagne, one of the most picturesque and mild climate regions of Corsica, this area is renowned for its 40 km coastline of cliffs alternating with long beaches of fine white sand and boasting a sea with Caribbean reflections.
Within this setting, between "sea and mountain", just 300 m from the town centre, yet in an absolutely quiet location, sits our residence. The holiday flats are in 2-storey buildings surrounded by a beautiful garden of hydrangeas, oleanders and bougainvillea, and at just 400 meters from the white sandy beach. Recently renovated, these cosy air-conditioned apartments are either on the ground or first floor, each with its own furnished veranda or balcony, colour SAT-TV, kitchenette (equipped with microwave oven, kettle and toaster), private bathroom with shower. French beds (one and a half twin bed). Other features of the residence are: private car park, reception, Wi-Fi at the reception.
Beach lovers here are spoilt rotten with the choice of beaches: Ostriconi, Lozari, Guardiola, Ghjunchitu, Bodri, Algajola and Marina di Sant'Ambrogio; a little bit more distant and reachable by a boat ride, instead, are the breathtaking beaches of Saleccia and Loto. Those wishing to explore the hinterland of this region, protected at the back by the massif of Monte Cinto, have a vast selection of hill-perched, medieval villages. In L'Île-Rousse numerous pubs, bars, restaurants are open till late at night on the large central square, from which radiate narrow streets with many shops, and on the harbour boardwalk. Within 1 km of the residence there are all kinds of services, including supermarkets (250 m), diving centre, marina, pharmacy, medical service, tobacconist, restaurants (200 m), bars (300 m) and more.
